Program Overview
The Udayan Shalini Fellowship is a flagship girls' empowerment initiative implemented by Udayan Care in partnership with Cosmo Foundation. For the past five years, the program has supported aspiring young girls from economically disadvantaged families across Cosmo-affiliated villages in Gangapur Block, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.

The fellowship combines scholarships, mentorship, life skills, and career guidance to help rural girls pursue higher education, develop confidence, and prepare for successful careers. Guided by mentors from Cosmo First and their families, the fellows are encouraged to dream bigger, overcome barriers, and become future leaders in their communities.
Why This Program
Many talented girls from rural and economically disadvantaged families face barriers that limit their access to higher education and career opportunities. Financial constraints, lack of guidance, and limited exposure often prevent them from realizing their full potential.
