AV & EV Assembly Technician
Program Overview
The AV & EV Assembly Technician program is a women-centric skill development initiative implemented by ISIE India, supported by Cosmo Foundation in collaboration with JMA Marketing Limited. The program prepares women for employment in the rapidly growing automotive and electric vehicle (EV) industry through structured technical education and workplace readiness training.
The 60-day NSDC-certified course combines 45 days of technical training with 15 days of soft skills development, enabling participants to gain practical knowledge of EV systems, assembly techniques, electrical components, workplace safety, and professional skills required for successful careers in the mobility sector.
Why This Program
India's automotive and electric vehicle industry is rapidly expanding, creating demand for skilled technicians. However, women continue to have limited representation in technical manufacturing and mobility careers due to restricted access to industry-oriented training.
The AV & EV Assembly Technician program bridges this gap by equipping women with technical expertise, practical experience, professional skills, and industry exposure, enabling them to build sustainable careers in the future mobility ecosystem.
